Description

On a Gray shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 (0.32cm) Black border, blazoned as follows: Argent (Silver Gray), behind a demi sphere Sable, grid-lined of the first, a stylized sword in pale Or, point downwards, superimposed upon a lightning bolt bend sinisterwise and surmounting the blade a lightning bolt bendwise, both of the second, within an orle of five mullets of the third. Overall dimensions are 3 (8.26cm) in height by 2 (6.99cm)width.



Symbolism

The sword and lightning bolt are indicative of cyber operations; the sword displaying offensive and defensive capabilities while the lightning bolts suggests technology, information, and signal transmissions. The five stars signify the five battalions within the brigade. The colors black and steel gray are associated with the cyber branch. Black denotes cyberspace, security, and a new frontier. Steel gray represents fortitude, mettle, and endurance. Gold exemplifies excellence, expediency, and expertise.

Description

On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 (3.18cm) in height blazoned as follows: Quarterly Sable and Gris(Dark Gray), in the second and third quarter a pixelated pattern Argent(Silver); overall a Sword erect Or. Attached below the shield a black scroll bearing the inscription UMBRA BELLATORES in silver.



Symbolism

The quartered shield recalls other Cyber units, utilizing the colors of Black and Dark Gray to indicate the units alignment. The pixelated pattern is representative of technology and the future of warfare. The sword signifies both offensive and defensive capabilities. The motto: UMBRA BELLATORES translates to SHADOW WARRIORS. Black denotes cyberspace, security, and a new frontier. Steel gray represents fortitude, mettle, and endurance. The color of smoke signifies adaptability, fluidity, and secrecy. Gold exemplifies excellence, expediency, and expertise.
